Beta Testing for The Clean Energy Project

We have just started a beta test for a new application version for The Clean Energy Project (version 6.29). This test will be doing three things:

Testing the new application version
Regression testing type 'A' workunits
Testing type 'B' workunits

There are 1000 workunits for each of type 'A' and type 'B'. They should run in the 10 hours to 12 hour timeframe. The deadline is 4 days.

Re: Beta Testing for The Clean Energy Project

Minor note. The 'A' workunits will be closer to averaging 24 hours.

Re: Beta Testing for The Clean Energy Project

This test, and a second phase of it which started Tuesday, has completed. We were able to confirm that 'B' type workunits are running correctly and that the 'A' type workunits were running no worse than earlier.

'B' type workunits are derived from the results of the 'A' type workunits. As a result, we expect to see a much lower error rate with the 'B' workunits as the problematic 'A' workunits that caused most of the errors will not have 'B' workunits.
