Tis last Beta cycle was good to me as have less than 8 days left to Silver and I was fortunate to get more than that in the last cycle.

You might still be lucky and get a silver soon, I just picked up a FAAH beta WU. So keep sucking down those WU's you never know what betas will sneak in amongst them.

Just a question, to get a Beta WU, do you have to be opted into that project?
For example, could you get a FAAH beta if you have beta checked but are only currently running CEP and RICE? (My guess would be no...) |

I have only rice checked and got a beta for FAAH. So yes you will get beta WU's for projects other than those you have checked.

to get a Beta WU, do you have to be opted into that project? Quick answer - no... the Beta work is independant of what other projects you've selected. There are certain things you can do to increase your chances of getting a Beta WU (documented elsewhere in the forum) - although in general, it's all a case of being in the right place at the right time (i.e. pulling work when there's Beta WU's available - which, in itself, is a rare event).  |

Just returned a FAAH beta, must've been a small batch I was only able to pull one out of my 4 machines.

I just uploaded my one FAAH beta. It finished in 1.22h compared to the 5h estimate. It's sitting in Pending Validation even though the quorum is 1.
Don't think it will be as easy to snag beta WU's now that CEP has started up again. I grabbed a few betas before by checking CEP as my only project when I knew that beta WU's were being sent out. |
