I have been having some speed problems with my internet connection since the snowstorm in the Eastern U. S., but this hasn't seemed to effect my BOINCage until late last night. Now my last 7 uploads are all retrying, and an Projects update yields:
----------------------------------------Wed 04 Mar 2009 05:55:31 AM EST|World Community Grid|Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. Requesting 0 seconds of work, reporting 1 completed tasks Wed 04 Mar 2009 05:55:32 AM EST||Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site Wed 04 Mar 2009 05:55:33 AM EST||Access to reference site succeeded - project servers may be temporarily down. Wed 04 Mar 2009 05:55:36 AM EST|World Community Grid|Scheduler request failed: SSL peer certificate or SSH md5 fingerprint was not OK If the issue isn't my ISP, then has the backup load balancer started having the same issue as the regular one, or was the regular one reinstated? Thanks for your response. |

Reviewing all of my cruncher logs, no indication of such is seen here... all comms is working 100%. A system boot certainly would clear any lingering and expired information BOINC might be using.

Yes, thanks, Sekerob, a reboot seems to have fixed the issue.

The SSL problem is entirely different from the slowness. SSL means you get The cannot display the page message . Please delete your post as it is NOT the same problem and will cause the thread to drift!

I am still unable to get new tasks. I have 2 x Quads down and out.
Messaging no longer shows "SSL connect error", but no work is being pulled down. Is this a different issue? |

From the Known Issues -
We are making progress. At this particular moment members should have full access. We will be testing a few more changes to hopefully get to the permanent fix so their may be short outages (of a few seconds) |

The SSL issue is resolved. If you are having issues getting work, then it is due to a different issue. Please start a new thread and post your messages log. Thank you.
