I know it's all 'pot luck' as to who actually returns the 250,000,000 result, but will it be possible to report back as to who the lucky cruncher was after the event?

Last time it required some performance impacting logging of returned results as it's not tracked who does it, in a permanent flood of 4 results per second or there about.

After the midday stats we were 1.42688 days away from the magic quarter billion. That would pull the event forward to sometime tomorrow, March 10 later in the day... 22:15 UTC if my math is not failing.
----------------------------------------PS: I base this on a 7 day rolling average, but the mean run time of WCG tasks is still on a slope, getting shorter, currently ~5.78 hours.

Of course, a chart to go with it. Seems we're heading for a post hosting site move record of 400,000 results in a day too, entirely attributable to those who were burning peak midnight oil to generate FightAIDS tasks and cutting them a tad short :D

With certainty it's a done deal. We live by the validated statistics, but WCG internally has a sizable stack of jobs returned which sit in Pending Validation and Inconclusive.
