We have done it. haven't we?though, don't see the balloons. Next milestone is 250,000 years. Patrick No balloons, but it's on the home page on the bottom right under "What's New" |

Looking at the statistics:
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/stat/viewGl....do?numRecordsPerPage=365 It looks like, the WCG has about 25% more CPUs than in October where it looks like we running about 200 years per day, and now about 25o years per day (I didn't calculate just taking a guess looking at the numbers). But even more amazing we broke the 300,000 Results mark end of January I believe. And now we are approaching 400,000 Results. But maybe thats something else, some project having shorter work units. But still looks like to me WCG is doing some great growing at the moment. Which is really exciting. It would be really cool if Boinc would be preinstalled on Dells and other manufacturous machines, but I guess that won't happen too soon, would be awesome if it would. WCG and Boinc are so awesome I wish more people would know about it. Helping the world by doing nothing :-) |

But even more amazing we broke the 300,000 Results mark end of January I believe. And now we are approaching 400,000 Results. But maybe thats something else, some project having shorter work units. In addition to about 8 % more runtime between now and end of January two facts contribute to this surge on the number of results: 1. We have finally exhausted the stock of 10-hour Rice WUs which seem to be all running 6 hours now. 2. The CEP project has been paused for the reasons that you can find in several other CEP threads, and this project had longer WUs than other projects in average. When this project resumes that might have an effect in the other direction. Cheers. Jean. |
