Hi,
I currently run WCG on my work laptop which I leave running overnight at work. Sometimes my internet connection drops out at work and therefore stops BOINC from retrieving new jobs or submitting completed jobs. The problem that I'm having is that BOINC only downloads two jobs for me at a time and only runs one at a time. It takes around 5 hours to complete a job on the laptop which means overnight from 5pm to 9am the next morning I'll be able to complete around 3 jobs, but since BOINC only downloads two at a time, once they get completed it cannot connect the Internet to retrieve more jobs. Is there a way to force BOINC to allocate more jobs so that overnight I could complete the maximum amount of jobs possible? Thanks, Marat |

Yes. You can change the number of hours of work you want to queue in your preferences (online, or in the client).
