btw I am NOT running power saver. That's the point - Linux is doing it without telling you. See the thread: http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/forum_thread.php?id=6609 |

On the loss of 2 years CPU time, that's a result of having used a different account or device ID under same device name. Was there? What is the My Grid page saying is your total?

Accumulated Points: 4,997,120 Current Ranking: 2,128 Well, that's the answer then. Do a device All/All filter as suggested before and tally what they show and it surely will show you the same as the total CPU time listed on the front My Grid page. 2 years + Here a quick link to show the complete device history with scores: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/v...dSince=0&lastResult=0 ciao

so it some how got attributed to another device. oy...
ok, the reset and update seems to have fixed the reporting. I only upgraded to 6.4 because the BOINC manager alerted me there was an upgrade available. |

If you wish to only get notification of WCG endorsed releases add below lines to the cc_config.xml file, <options> section. Also your client will check with ibm if the internet in general is up if WCG is uncontactible and not with google.
----------------------------------------<options> AND, please edit the title in your opening post and insert [RESOLVED] . Members and other CA's will know the mission is completed. happy crunching again.

Yeah I dunno what's up with it.
it has tasks ready to report overnight, won't send them. even with the changes to cc_config.xml no difference. I have to go in manually and update the project, otherwise it just wont send the updates. not sure what the problem is. |
