I've tried a couple CEP workunits with my mac and they have all ended up marked Inconclusive and eventually Invalid. So I'm crunching it only with my Windows box for now. Anything known about CEP issues with Macs?

Error: 2 called boinc_finish </stderr_txt> ]]> Not sure what that means (permissions problem? crash?), can only say the Mac is crunching other projects fine and I believe has crunched other WCG projects fine before I narrowed it to this one project. It took 9.13 hours and claimed 251, a bit high but this box does that. Other results were 9.76 hours/205 and 10.59 hours/316, plus a no-reply. This is a general, x-platform, issue for Type A results. Originally until some deeper reconstruction, I thought this was predictable i.e if 1 copy did, the quorum partner would do too. Not. There are machines who do the result fine and others not. The technicians have now so much statistical data that if there is a specific OS/CPU pattern they should be able to filter that out. But, could be an intermittent piece of security software poking fingers in the eye too.

Thanks, I had thought that got fixed and I'd never seen the problem at all on my Windows box. Will try again with the Mac when more CEP work is available.
