OMG

there is some idjiot swimming in front of the race so things have been stopped
Okay just a harmless jape no one hurt but Im sorta upset part of my regular yearly ritual spoiled No idea as to what he was protesting about

Re: Fish and the Easter season

restart after some while then the woman driver hits the other crew breaks & their own oar

then she argues with the ref/umpire ( I think she was on her mobile phone at the time or checking her Lippy )

an Oxford rower collapsed at the finish .... omg drama

Re: Fish and the Easter season

Evening all

I didn't watch this year. It is, however, amazing that a specialist sport among an elite group of under or actual graduates captures the imagination. Even as a kid I supported the light blues with no idea really why.

Good Morning!
Unreliable April served the finest dusting of snow overnight
- now it's cloudy with sun inbetween, no wind to speak of, the birch twigs report, but
.... baby, it's cold outside, I assure you

Re: Fish and the Easter season

Evening all

A damp and dull day outside but some good food and wine to look forward to this evening. It's any excuse to celebrate these days. It's something about 'you can't take it with you' suppose.

Re: Fish and the Easter season

Good Morning!
A bit of rain for a change, not much wind, not much warmth
- but I'm going to see the crown jewels at Rosenborg Castle with upstairs Yvonne
- and not least the silver lions. I never forgot those that I saw many decades ago
