Evening all
Plenty of sun here but chilly enough outside once in the shade. What a relief that I neither have not need a car. A free travel pass and the odd cab plus my wobbly legs make transport costs not an issue. |

Good Morning!
Sun is getting out of bed at local 0620 - the right astronomical time, calm and 7C already at 0720 local artificial time. Pole walking day - I look forward to seeing how much the anemones dominate today .... |

Oh well the wealthy midlands can afford gas guzzlers my Vectra diesel 1.9 costs 160 quid ![]() Good moaning all.............. I have a 2ltr Rover diesel, 54mls to the gal on a run, tax last year £205.00 this year £225.00, It has never failed an exhaust gas test and unlike a lot of bus and lorrys that are running around, it don't smoke! I'd resort to a push bike but with so many BAD drivers on the road these days, I'd fear for my life!! Evening all
Another warm and sunny day which meant that things outside had dried enough for me to do my first mowing of the season. Off to the National Liberal Club tomorrow for the first of our pensioners' lunch of the season with a talk from one of the registered London Guides who I have already met a few times. It means I'll have to put a tie on for the first time this year. |

Morning! Bright sunshine yet again - I just can't believe this weather we have been getting. (Not grumbling you understand, but bit concerned about how long it can last and what will come next!). At least the garden plants are happy and treating it as "summer" - hope they won't collapse if it all changes! Have a good day everyone.
