Oh, that is beautiful, old sage rose

- it seems as if we are quite a few autumn people in this "house"
- walking in the cold, drinking hot cocoa, lighting candles,
curling up with a book when the wind whips the rain against our window panes
- and getting a little melancholy

I can smell the fresh stillness of the air;

Evening all,
I'm busy all of this week with the poppy appeal. On the 11th I attend a civic ceremony at the central war memorial for the 2min silence and again on the 13th I represent The Royal British Legion to place a wreath on behalf of our Legion Branch.
Again this year the response from the general public as been outstanding, these are tough times but the British public are as generous as ever. I wear my poppy with pride knowing that a Nation as not forgotten and will never forget those who defend and have defended our freedom.

I'm here! I am back at long last. I won't go into the saga, but I have had no computer for over a week! It is like having your hands cut off! All up and working now, but it took about 48 hours to read all the emails, and also to get used to the 'different' look of things and what they 'do'!
