Re: Re:

Evening all

Well, the loft is cleared after a major operation. There is no ladder and the entrance flap is but 40x30 cms.

And, really, 90% of the stuff up there was rubbish. I had the habit of putting the boxes and so on that new goods came in, just in case they had to be returned under warranty. The good reflection was that, not once did I have to resort to getting the stuff down which means everything I have bought in the last 14 years has, at the very least, outlived its warranty.
The cardboard is no problem but the polystyrene will need a journey to the tip. Fortunately, daughter No 1 is coming across next week (school holiday) and I can get a ride to the tip.

I trust that is a return journey!!? biggrin devilish

Moaning all........... smile

Cold and damp again here in the Midlands, I wonder if the volcanic ash has summit to do with it?.
Looking back however, the preparations for 'Operation Overlord' where being planned about now and the weather wasn't particularly good then, of course history shows the event finally took place on the 6th June, a break in the weather allowing the allied commanders to give the order to go. Where do's the term 'flaming June come from? it seems like it's always wet and blustery!! sad

Safe landings to you all........... good luck rose

Re: Re:

Dry but cool here today so I hope it warms up a bit before the Lord's Test at the end of the week.

I watched a bit of the Monaco practise session which reinforced what a dangerous circuit it can be; no margin for error here.
