I hadn't even thought of that but double checked
nowhere really nowhere does it say "don't panic" or "don't shout" muwahahaha can't wait until the next time someone tries to toast bread in the kitchen... |

Evening all
Pleasant day here so the weekly walk to the Supermarket felt OK. Email from Daughter No 1 trapped for the moment in Thailand and not certain when flights will begin again. Term starts again on Monday and, as Head, I'm sure she hates the idea of not being there. Tomorrow is our annual 'Village' clean up when we get as many volunteers as possible to clear all the rubbish, deal with any graffiti and cut back any overgrown areas. The collective activity also then turns out to be fun and boss Lady will also arrange a buffet lunch to repay those turning up. Weather forecast good at the moment so all should be well. |

My knees are really complaining terribly with all this physical work I am doing!!
 Mind you, I only started it this afternoon as daughter dragged me round the shops all the morning - everything I was looking for has apparently disappeared to another planet! Simple things like a bedside lamp to tone with the new bed-linen - shouldn't be too impossible, should it?  I have had it now for today - mind you I have just noticed it is pitch black outside  - something to eat might be a good idea. Alter ..............  |
