Evening all
A bit of everything weather wise today but at least the underlying temperature seems to be settling a bit above the zero point on my outdoor window thermometer so perhaps I might be so bold as to put my one heavy winter sweater in for dry cleaning this coming week. I don't suppose you're walking across the Pennines Scribbles so you should be OK. My worst experience coming back to Bebington on the Motorway was FOG, with a capital F. All the traffic was diverted off the Motorway and the long stream of traffic took literally hours to get around Manchester and on to the Wirral. Plus the fact that my wife was expecting me to take her to a dinner dance that evening and, before the days of mobiles, there was no way of contacting her. Such are the joys of motoring which I am glad to leave behind me. |

Prayers being sent Chiles way. :( We are on Tsunami alert. As I look out the window the tide is doing strange things... coming in when it should be out. We will continue the waiting game. There are still stupid people here who have gone to the beaches to see it all happen.
