Re: THE EDWARDIANS - WHY NOT JOIN US AS THE QUEST CONTINUES -

Good morning everyone smile
I vote we get some legislation started to allow a 25 cents (US) per computer per day discount on our power bill for anyone running projects like ours.
We have 2 hydro-electric dams where I live and not 1 watt of power stays here. It's all sent to Ohio and they in turn sell it back to us.
You know, before long there's going to be about a million people worldwide with enough money to still pull all the strings. The problem lies in the billions of us that won't have enough to do squat. How long do you think the revolution will last 3 billion+ vs. 1 million confused I figure about 5 minutes laughing

Y'all have a great day. cool

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - WHY NOT JOIN US AS THE QUEST CONTINUES -

329 days 'puting for Merle ????? according to her merit badges
don't think that's a correct tally of her time crunching . As her machine is on line 24/ 7 and has been since I first met her in this place
I know she doesn't do this for badges but ????

Merle, you might want to look at the Device Profile you've associated with your client. If Power Saving, this client will stop computing after 20 minutes of inactivity of keyboard/mouse. It's an option that only exists so far on the website, not in the client. If you though in the client activity menu set "Run Always", I'd not expect it to stop though... not sure.

ciao

(and sorry for the interruption if this was already tried)

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - WHY NOT JOIN US AS THE QUEST CONTINUES -

Evening all

The sun's shining at the moment but it's been a pretty mixed day and the 5 day outlook for the Test is not particularly encouraging.

The Judges come for the London In Bloom inspection for the Village award (or not) on Friday and the current forecast for then is Heavy Rain.

I'll be sheltering in or outside Lord's so my thoughts will be with the gang here. I shall take part in the final clean up tomorrow evening.

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - WHY NOT JOIN US AS THE QUEST CONTINUES -

Like I said Merle is a super cruncher I don't understand her minimal count she has only been crunching for 8 or so years
( my estimate only) just as a a base line ,,,,,
I do have 4 machines doing their stuff chocolate orange has two machines so its all down to the the mechanics so I feel Merle is being short changed ...

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Ivan how do you feel about Freddie Flintoff leaving the test team

Me not being a crioket watcher havent a understanding of the value of Freddie..... he isn't going to leave cricket just the test series I guess he will still play the Indian 20/20 competition

cynical or what could it be £$

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - WHY NOT JOIN US AS THE QUEST CONTINUES -

my thoughts are with you Ivan
great that you are being part of your area

If we had a equivalent event I would be there
we do have a plant a wood project that has been a success 100 yards up the road
A swampy field changed in to a bosky dell a great place to walk I dont know where the trees we planted are but its now a quite nice wooded area

Catch you the morrow
