The last 5 work units have all come in as "Inconclusive". I've only ever seen rare instances of inconclusives in the past.

Yes, I've had a few "Inconclusive" results in my crunching on DDD-T in my time. After a second WU has been sent out and received though, they've all turned to "Valid" (that is, unless I missed one...).
----------------------------------------So, just keep an eye on them and see what happens... ![]() |

I was just about to post something about this.
My last 2 results were inconclusive. I have a couple a few weeks ago but they came back as valid after a second computer crunched them so I'm not worried that much. My 2 WUs that are inconclusive are: dddt0802d0195_100264 dddt0802d0193_100443 |

Yes, the work units have been validated after confirmation with second WU. My reason for posting was the observation that 5 consecutive WU's initially showed up inconclusive. If there is a systemic issue, then having to backup WU's constantly is a waste of CPU time.

No, this is by design to maintain scientific trust in the Volunteer device over which WCG nor the scientist have any control.
----------------------------------------Getting a series of inconclusives is often a result of a client having produced one or more invalid/error results for the Zero Redundancy projects that FAAH & DDDT are. Call it a revalidation to see if a device is reliable. Overall for each validated result 1.2 copies are sent out which used to be 2.2 copies when running quorum 2. The support FAQ link below leads to more answers on the topic.

Ok, thank you Rob. I've only had one invalid result recently and that was for CEP.
