Remove devices?

Hi,

I installed World Community Grid Agent on four computers and then uninstalled from one of them. However, on "my grid" on http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org, it still shows that four devices are installed, although only three are returning results.

How do I remove devices?

Thanks.

There is no way for you to remove devices. If the one you uninstalled never completed a work unit, it will eventually disappear (not sure the timing on this). If it did complete work units, it will continue to be reported.

cool Re: Remove devices?

If you go to My Grid - Device Manager, you will see 2 drop down menus. These control which devices you see. One says Show all devices registered within the last [default] 7 days. The other says Show all devices that have returned results in the last [default] 14 days. These 2 menus can be changed to less time or more time. In addition, there is some work on producing a 'Merge Devices' command, though we do not have it yet.
