Once upon a time lawrencehardin had figured out how to use google to search in a more refined way, but when I try I get only the statistics part, not any hits on the forum.

It's a good way to not draw attention from the spammers and am perfectly fine with that.

The search is not as bad as it's made out to be, particular if using the (advanced) search link middle top and the quotation marks to find specific word combinations or error messages, then look at the date stamp at right side. The trouble is that a found post in a long thread does not jump to the correct page when hitting the resulting link.

Pity... I looked for your post where you discussed this in a reply to me 1.5-2 years ago, to no avail. It was the wiki search, not forum search.
