World Community Grid is excited to announce that members with Linux and Mac computers should now be able to receive work from The Clean Energy Project. In addition, the Windows version has been updated to reduce the error rate of work units. The application version for all 3 operating systems is 6.28.

I got one yesterday and ate it up already! I got a couple more and they are in progress.
My Computer does 80 GigaFLOPS: let's see if you can keep me in Work Units. This is now my preferred project! |

My quad mac got its first fill 2 days ago. Have to wait on my octo to load up until it finishes the batch of other projects. Keep pumping out the wu's. My mac's are hungry!

Science applications are downloaded automatically. Open BOINC Manager, look in the Tasks tab, and you will see the application version in the Application column, like this: The Clean Energy Project 6.28
If you are looking for the latest BOINC version, get it here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/reg/ms/viewDownloadAgain.do The latest recommended Mac version is 6.2.18. |
