BOINC startup and Vista User Account Control

Is there any way to configure my Vista system, short of turning off User Account Control, so that I don't have to give permission every time I start BOINC? I have World Community Grid in my Startup Folder so that it comes up automatically at boot time. With that setup, the normal UAC window does not appear and the only indication that WCG is not started pending permission is a tiny icon down on the task bar that is easy to overlook. Thanks!

Re: BOINC startup and Vista User Account Control

Thanks, Didactyos! A reinstall of BOINC following those installation directions worked fine. The key seems to be to check the "Install as a Service" box in the "Customize Installation Options" window. I bet I didn't do that what I installed BOINC before. -Wes
