Re: WEATHER WEATHER WEATHER WEATHER

We had twice rain last night and this morning... where normally a puddle would form on the terrace, this morning the spots where drops had hit showed the dust having splattered away in star shapes.

Saturday Variably cloudy with a passing shower
RealFeel®: 83°F
High Temperature: 78°F
Low Temperature: 59°F

Today we're suppose to drop below 100°F....I'll believe it when I see it (I was going to say when I feel it, but that's not going to happen....heat index is already 105 °F .).

94.0 °F presently

Not much of a drop. sad
99 °F
T-storms
30% chance of precipitation

Re: WEATHER WEATHER WEATHER WEATHER

Strangely, one Rush Limbaugh, a regular pump-cheek on US channels, has an issue with the Heat Index or as it's called at Accuweather ''Real Feel"... To me they're the perfect translation of the ambient experience.

We had drips yesterday and today a Thundering Thunderstorm... but that did not develop until 4:30 PM... plowing in from perfect North... where the Adriatic is.
Sunday Intervals of clouds and sunshine
RealFeel®: 88°F
High Temperature: 80°F
Low Temperature: 55°F
Details | Hour-By-Hour

Till 14:00 we had the most perfect, steel blue sky and did a long hike across the hills, each emptying the 1 liter thermal insulated water bottles. Views with peaks at least 100 miles away [digitally captured with the cellular 8 Megapix cam]

Rattling good thunderstorm with buckets of rain here in Southern Ontario started around 05:00 (09:00 UTC). I hope not too much hit the lake as the farmers badly need the rain after weeks with none and thermometer reaching 36C where I live.

Re: WEATHER WEATHER WEATHER WEATHER

It's freezing in South Africa. We are not geared for such cold weather.

Re: WEATHER WEATHER WEATHER WEATHER

Anyone in the USA, be prepared [unless you've not already heard] for the NCDC has published 10,000 regional updates to what ''normal'' weather is expected to be in the coming decade... some cooler, more warmer:

http://www.good.is/post/what-s-normal-weather-is-about-to-officially-change/

An interesting link to an animation of the change since 1880 is here:

For Brits with stiff upper lip: It Aint Half Hot Mum :
