I ended up uninstalling and upgrading to the newest bionic manager and it seems to be working fine, just to bad I ended up loosing 13 WU's in the process

I've got the same problem, after a couple of months of trouble-free uploading. I stopped using the grid a few years ago because of the same problem, but this time, with a much better set-up from WCG and a new computer I thought things were going well. I'm not prepared to mess about indefinitely.

Hi, dermaptera.
hunterkasy wasn't clear whether he tried resetting the project. However, since you don't want to mess about, we will assume that resetting normally won't work and I will walk you through resetting your installation manually (this will lose all work in progress or unreported). 1. Stop BOINC (exit BOINC Manager, and if necessary, stop the BOINC service). 2. Delete client_state.xml and client_state_prev.xml from your BOINC data directory. 3. Restart BOINC. Please ask for clarification if you need it, and do report back whether this works or not. Thank you. |

I Did try resetting the agent, and it did start downloading new projects and started crunching again, but in the log I noticed it told me that their was a newer version for my computer and it gave a link to the page for it so I uninstalled the old client and installed the 6.4.5 version and it is working also

....but as stated elsewhere a number of times, this version is not supported or recommended by WC, so use at your risk...
