sad Error: Project servers may be temporarily down ?!

Since yesterday I get this error when Boinc tries to update and report finished WU

1/26/2009 11:01:26 PM||Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down. <- 1st time it appeared

Any ideas what is up with that because I would like new tasks added to the client and also to report the ones that are finished!

Thank you!

Re: Error: Project servers may be temporarily down ?!

This has most probably something to do with the SSL Error discussed in other threads. Do you have more message lines from you log for us?

Re: Error: Project servers may be temporarily down ?!

I am experiencing the same with my workunit too, though I am getting work from other projects and they all appear fine.

Re: Error: Project servers may be temporarily down ?!

well I have only this and the clean energy project selected ... the clean energy works ok ... but the problem is that i have like 10 finished DDDT tasks done and they can't be reported and might pass the deadline. Also can't get new task from it :(

Re: Error: Project servers may be temporarily down ?!

I've been getting the same thing. I got it a few times yesterday and then it finally went through. Then it's started again this morning at around 5am and still unable to connect. It must be with just DDDT because I was doing RICE up until yesterday with no problems.

Re: Error: Project servers may be temporarily down ?!

The following has been happening since 03:07:31 pm (US Eastern Time) on 1/26/2009 (last night) on all 5 machines - multiple projects - 4*WinXP and 1*Linux hosts.
Some work is getting downloaded but not very much - not enough to keep all cores active.
Sending results back seems to be OK (sometimes).
WU's are "stuck"in "downloading" status - one per machine.

WinXP Boinc 5.10.22 clients get the "http error" flavor of the message
Linux Boinc 5.10.45 client gets the "ssl connect error" flavor documented in other posts

Re: Error: Project servers may be temporarily down ?!

rice is affected too. i saw 2 ddt and 1 rice that didnt upload when i woke up this morning. i decided to turn off my PC for an hour since i've been crunching seti on my 8500gt for several days. when i started boinc again, the 2 ddt and 1 rice changed from "uploading" to "computation error". i've been experiencing upload problems with seti too but they didnt turn into computation errors.
