Scheduler request failed: SSL connect error

I saw something possibly related in the Known Issues forum, but since I can't update that read-only thread, I'll post it here.

I'm still getting the error in the Topic, though I've managed to "sneak in" an update.

More fully:

1/26/2009 5:09:40 PM|World Community Grid|Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.  Requesting 0 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks
1/26/2009 5:09:41 PM||Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
1/26/2009 5:09:43 PM||Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down.
1/26/2009 5:09:45 PM|World Community Grid|Scheduler request failed: SSL connect error

I guess it's been happening sporadically for a few days now.
