Re: every task running high priority

3) what is "rDCF" ? See the Acronyms FAQ http://worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=11187 and follow the link.

As I was curious myself I tried to follow the suggested link and got a "Page can't be displayed" error message. With a little googling I figured out I could get the link working by adding www. to the front. (i.e. http://www.boinc-wiki.info/index.php?title=Duration_Correction_Factor)

I guess the DNS/web server settings at boinc-wiki.info were changed so it no longer responds to requests without the www bit. Maybe someone can update the FAQ accordingly?

Re: every task running high priority

Ok, I'll try going back to a previous version. The trouble is that the only previous version available is the 6.2.19. I can't find 6.2.28...

Two more questions:

1) I noticed in the statistics page in BOINC the following:

last update: -86 days
It is also very weird that statistics are shown in the future (up to april 2009) in the bOINC manager. I can show you a screenshot if it can be useful.

2) 6.4.5 is Recommended version on the download page....why is it, since it was never properly developed?

Regards,

Witold

Thanks for help.

This is a known consequence of setting the date back, which as this confirms was by about 3 months. Another hack can fix that, recently discussed by Didactylos.

2) 6.4.5 is Recommended version on the download page....why is it, since it was never properly developed? It's recommended at Berkeley. WCG does not follow the Premature Births, which is why 6.2.19 was their previous release and another 9 point releases were needed to become acceptable for WCG and their large contributors i.e. 6.2.28.

Witold
