From my point of view it is one of worst kind of plane to take a fly. Think about and be safe. ![]() But GIBA according to preliminary reports Geese caused this accident, not mechanical failure. Given that is just the preliminary report. I don't believe in coincidences involving the same kind of plane. Just to record, turbines of any commercial plane are building to support Birds impacts at high speeds with expected damages (of course) but with structural resilliance to survive this impact. Yearly, there are many reports around the world of birds and planes impacts with damages in its turbines and despite of the danger involved, without serious consequences for the plane structure. If Geese caused the accident for sure the model of plane appear for me be a risk factor that sum to final break down. But I'm not a tech in Planes and it is just my guess... I can be wrong. ![]()

Either way I feel very comfortable with getting on an airplane.
I've heard people are more likely to die in car crashes on the way to the airport than in a plane crash. |
