device profiles

i have two active device profiles (defaults and work) and i already assigned work for my best pc for crunching (and also edit global_prefs.xml manuall by assign cpu usage 100%) but 2 days ago it seems only run 60% (like defaults profile). i want to ask, is there any easy way to assign for my best pc using 100% resources (cpu usage, etc) and how to reset all devices to use defaults profile ?

thank you in advance

Re: device profiles

Hello logaritse,
A good idea is to use work, home or school rather than default. Check 'default' on one of the 3 named profiles to be assigned to all devices except the ones you specifically select by name. My Grid - Device Manager and My Grid - Device Manager - Device Profiles let you do all this.

Re: device profiles

Hello logaritse,
Yes. When you select My Grid - Device Manager - Device Profiles and set a device profile, you have an option 'Set as Default: ' just above the Basic Options line. If you set a check in the box, then that profile will be your default profile. Apparently you have selected Work as your default profile. You can always assign Home or School to any computer with different settings.
