Sorry I'm usually quicker in responding but I've been distracted for the last couple of days.

Thanks for choosing to crunch with the MOT crew. nerd01 I'm liking your posts. Thanks for your email we need another flag team we have a new country to add to our list - Poland.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to say that this team is not about getting to the top. It's about making new friends through the WCG and having a laugh together while we crunch through work units with the hope of cures and treatments for some of Mankinds worst ailments. This team was started for a laugh with me adding more smileys to a Join "my online team" thread than the majority at the time, purely tongue in cheek. Here we are now 5th in the world with 52 years of crunching between us and now 154 members. It is a constant source of amusement to me as I have watched us rising through the ranks. We soon might have to take our first step backwards in the rankings for the first time in MOT history as TW rampage up the ranks. But that just gives us another team to overtake sometime in the future.

MOT has always punched above it weight. We are the Prince Naseem Hamed of the World Community Grid. Pound for pound we generated 1082 points per team member yesterday. To put this in perspective TribalWar generated 498 points per team member yesterday, IBM 354 and Slashdot 181 points per team member.

So 1 MOT Team Member = 2 TW = 3 IBM = very nearly 6 SD !!

You see it's stats like that that make me smile and encourage me to keep on going.

Mr Bell I'm gaining fast

For the past 4 days we've averaged the 5th October (I won't explain you have the idea by now )

165122 points on average thats ~800Gflops together or a 749000+ Athlon or a 749Ghz P4 - awesome number crunching potential.

and in the last 4 days we've returned 835 results per day back to rbonneau's team at the ISB. If we keep going like this that will be over 300,000 results posted back over the next 12 months.
