Thank goodness down here we have Medicare for all, relativly cheap drugs under the PBS ($28 script max) and the Saftey Net (govt reimburses 80% of annual family medical costs over $700 p.a.)

Dear Stranger,

Well, yes, I was oversimplifying, but the remission rate is only 10% at present and that's only because the protein involved, HER2, has been studied alot.

And, to go back to Outback Mick's point, availability isn't just about prices or regulations. In my case, the availability problem is that the great breakthrough has come just a bit too late for me. The speed of innovation matters.
