I'm pretty sure this project has a hard stop at 10 hours. Exact. The problem seems to be with receiving some, currently. gb009761, you can try to help luck by selecting the Rice project alone together with not accepting other work. I mean if you really want to crunch until the last minute. Otherwise nobody will blame you for stopping that device right now. Cheers. Jean. |

Hi Jean, on my new computer, I've got every project selected whilst on my old one, I only had NRW - that was, until there was no more work available for a time on any project. So, I decided to open it up in the hope that I'd get just 1 more relatively small WU to process... Unfortunately, the plan didn't work...
----------------------------------------Anyhow, I've now begun decommisioning my old machine so that I can wipe the hard disc and hand the machine back... Meanwhile, I'll continue to crunch on my new machine ![]() ![]() |

I guess the work queue is out until the move. I've been trying to get work since yesterday morning and still nothing.
Oh well, time for a break for my server. It deserves one. ![]() |

Set project to all. Messages here repeat absence of rice and dengue work. Managed to get 3 days work buffered on the laptop so it will be able to bridge the outage, plus a safety

Yes, I've set my projects to 'all', and I'm still receiving work - albeit mostly for projects that I've already got my Gold badge for, but, what the heck... Once the move is complete and everything back to normal, I'll reselect the projects that I'm needing so as to 'Go for Gold'
----------------------------------------![]() I just wish I'd have known about these badges way back in the dark days - as then, instead of contributing for over a year on Human Proteome Folding, I'd have spread my spare processor time on Genome Comparison & Help Defeat Cancer (both, unfortunately, in the Bronze category...). ![]() |

Same here. I had a server that I rarely ever looked at that I just let run for about 2 years without monitoring the jobs. I just selected all projects and to add projects as they came online. Now I have alot of work on projects I already have gold. Not that I really care...work was still being done for a good cause. But if I had known about the badges I would have readjusted to get the gold and then go back to all.

and when the Wizards add new badges, as has been hinted at several times this fall, for more crunching, you will get those badges and you will feel better

Except for the Bronze badges that I have for completed projects.
Yea, I would say they need additional badges above Gold like, Platinum, Diamond...maybe even "Nuclear" for those hardcore crunchers. lol |
