I have a 9600GS and even OC'ed it could only complete the shorter wu's within the time limit. I pulled it out and replaced it with a 9800GT. Cool Weather always helps. As long as it does not take down your electrical service. Day before yesterday, I shut down one of the machines as it was 86F here and all the machines made my office to hot to be comfortable. It is 41F outside now so all the hamsters are running as fast as they can. I am glad you guys are taking all the rough edges off the GPU crunching. One day (When WCG gets it going) the rest of us will have some good advisors. |

Well, crunching is not closed today! Looks like one of the last 3-4 WUs I finished put me over one million BOINC credits. Of course, that doesn't include the year or so I crunched on UD before moving to BOINC. Another 125K credits and I'll have a million at WCG alone too.
