Small number of WUs available

Hi!

Can anybody from the CEP staff or CAs explain, why it's only 10 years of runtime available on usual day? Seem like not much of number :). Is it about some additional tests? Or it is a scientists will?

Marry Christmas to All, guys!

Re: Small number of WUs available

It has a low priority for now, since some work units are very large, and the techs need to watch them carefully.

I hope that issues encountered could be solved asap. I ran many WU's and faced many problems like errors or too late status along side of many very slow crunch performance when using quad core machines.

Yes some are reallllly long: 67.11 hours on a 3.66 GHz at least if someone else could run the mirror, I'll get credit for 661 units

If many of yours have been abnormally short as you have reported in another thread this average is not significant.

As jpvanpe has reported, most CEP WUs which go to their normal end are really very long.

Cheers. Jean.
