CEP Out of Work?

I'm starting to get WUs from other projects because I keep getting messages that CEP is out of work. With DDDT down and Rice slowing down, is this causing shortages of CEP work or is CEP slowing down a bit until some of the recent bug discoveries can be cleaned up?

I believe a new application version is about to be released. When this happens, WCG wind down work for the previous version. I haven't seen the announcement yet, though.

Another factor is the upcoming datacenter move. The techs are making various adjustments to smooth the transition.

yes they ran another quick at least (i only got 1 work unit) beta of some of the CEP

i think they are trying to work out the bugs and issues

yes they have mentioned that rice is being slowed down but i havent seen any shortage of rice work units

right now alot of people are shooting for there CEP gold badge so they are grabing alot of work units... myself i have shifted off of CEP for a few weeks and am running other projects

yes they are also doing the datacenter move soon so that could be another reason...

I hope you have the "If there is no work available for my computer for the projects I have selected above, please send me work from another project." checkbox checked, so your computer is not really twiddling its thumbs, waiting for CEP wu's. confused
