Saw nothing at Mozilla but my browser auto-update check just showed that release 3.0.5 was in the queue for download. [added: After update the release notes showed: http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/3.0.5/releasenotes/ ] I installed Firefox 3.05 last night and have started to use it today. If I find I can upload to my site, I will be happy. I can cope with the Ad/Spyware popups for now. For half my life there was no plastic money - who needs it now? Really recommend you get the IEtab add-in. On the fly switch to use IE engine inside FF with the cover of Firefox security. An icon in the status bar tells what mode it's in and you can even specify which sites open a IE tab inside FF. E.g. when visiting Windows Update it switches to IE mode.

Let me put it to you another way, cummerbund. It has been shown that if a computer has one kind of spyware or virus infection, then it is very likely to have other spyware, other viruses, and may well be part of a botnet. Botnets are used by criminal gangs, not only for stealing financial information, but for spam and many other fraudulent activities.
Please do the responsible thing, get your computer cleaned, and compute safe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spyware http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Botnet |

SpyBot and AdAware is frequently running on my boxes for periodic scan, plus they regularly inject block tables "immunizing" the browsers from visiting many hidden links. E.g per yesterday's update, Spybot now blocks 10000 images that have attack-code included, yes they can transport viral/spyware code via images too.
----------------------------------------And do get NoScript. You can specify per site what is allowed in terms of java, flash, silverlight, iFrame and more. The default is block and a simple status bar icon alert will tell what's being blocked with a picklist to select what you want to authorize. AND, if using IE, get IE7Pro. It's a combo helper of what many FF add-ins do.
