Hello all,
Downloaded BOINC and joined WCG a few days ago. Since then my computer's been requesting work units from Clean Energy Project and coming up empty: Fri Dec 12 00:04:17 2008|Harvard Clean Energy Project|Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. ...and the like. Has there really been no work available for days? Or is there a problem on my end?

There is.
You seem to be attached to the defunct "Harvard Clean Energy Project". You must have joined up ages ago. Now that the project has launched on World Community Grid instead, you need to attach to www.worldcommunitygrid.org You can detach from the Harvard project. It's just a ghost. Never had work, never will. I will ask the techs whether they can help the Harvard folks to set up a server message so that nobody else makes your mistake - because from your point of view, there is no sign you aren't doing everything right (except for no work). |
