Several of my clients are trying to upload results (most of them for CEP), but they don't succeed... Are there any known problems...??? They have internet access, so it's not a web-connection problem...!!!
Hey Techs, any ideas...??? |

Is it a temporary problem?
No point doing anything if it resolves in an hour or few. |

Can't tell ya... I just know, that currently no upload is possible...
And the most anoying thing for me is, if I could upload my results right now, I would get my CEP Badge within the next update... OK, I will be patient, and wait another 12 hours... But maybe the Techs should have a look at it, who knows what the problem is... The earlier a problem is identified, the quicker it is solved! So long, Totto |

It will straighten itself out on its own, but if you want to speed it up you can do the following.
If you are on windows, open a command prompt and type: ipconfig /flushdns After that, restart BOINC You should be able to update now. thanks, Kevin |

The boinc client should eventually correct itself after enough tries, but if you don't want to wait or are running out of work then stop/start/restart the client. |

Yep, that was it... After flushing the cache, and restarting BOINC, everything works fine again...
----------------------------------------Except that I have to wait 12 hrs. more for my CEP badge... Thanx for the quick support! So long, Totto [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Dec 11, 2008 8:52:46 AM] |

Hello Totto,
----------------------------------------I do not see any correlation with CEP, but I experience since one week a similar problem on one of my hosts. By me, only a reboot can help ! I don't have any idea about the root cause of this problem. 3 others hosts using the same network connection do not have any problem ! Cheers, Yves |
