sad Change i time due on CEP WU

The first WU in the CEP was sent with a return time on 20 days. The WU that my client download today have only 7 days. My client, a intel dual core 1.46 MHZ estimating completion time to 108 hours, usualy use around 46 hours on the WU's.
But the problem with the change of return time for me is that the new start as a priority task and pauses the WU that have approx 9 hours left.
So my problem has been made by change in return time. sad

Re: Change i time due on CEP WU

Hi,

It's an gross overestimation. The size of the job is from batch 10 and up are much smaller, but the server still only knows of averages of the long jobs. Just let it run and the TTC should come down quickly.

ciao

Re: Change i time due on CEP WU

As Kevin Reed just announced, the sizes of the work units have just been reduced, with a corresponding cut in the deadline size.

You are seeing an estimate based on the old, longer work units.

You should make all your deadlines if you just leave it to its own devices.
