Trouble downloading.

Is anyone else having trouble downloading new WUs?

I've just spent almost an hour, and made about 8 attempt to download a new WU. Every time the download got to within a few K of completion it stopped dead.

I tried changing modems and ISPs (Tiscali & MSN), but it didn't help at all. The download I finally got was fairly small, so it didn't have much time to stop. But the thing still took forever TO complete.

Do we have another server problem I don't know about? thinking

I'm not aware of anyone else having problems. My last download was about 5 hours ago, but I wasn't by the PC to watch it. I sure hope there isn't any problem. It might be difficult to find a support tech with the Easter Holiday. If anyone else notices a problem, I hope they will post here.

Hi Liberty Dude,
You haven't loaded Macaffee or any other Virus/Firewall/Parental Controls type application. I've experience similar operation in the past and this has been Macaffee parental controls that was scuppering the download.

Just a thought

Hi, Liberty Dude. Had to work on the computer, so I monitored. (I was one of the computers affected by the last server issue). My last task was quick to download and upload.
