Why???, I've seen no explaination as to why you're asking for this (and numerous other) threads to be deleted. This one in particular, as by it's very nature, it has had 492+ replies, been viewed over 20843 times and is a record of when people got their respective Beta badges (which has been said numerous times, is the most elusive of badges to obtain).

This one in particular, as by it's very nature, it has had 492+ replies, been viewed over 20843 times and is a record of when people got their respective Beta badges (which has been said numerous times, is the most elusive of badges to obtain). I must agree. This is a useful thread.   |

Well, just to reassure myself (and ensure that, if this thread is removed, I don't loose my badge recognition dates), I've just been extracting them all from this and all the other Badge Recognition Threads, to a file on my own machine. So, where do I send the invoice for my time spent astrolab? |

There's NO WAY this thread will be removed. As you stated prior, these are the hardest badges to get.

Before anyone over reacts, I have never seen WCG remove a thread unless it is in gross violation of forum policy. An author may request a thread be locked for no new posts. If this were to happen, I am sure someone would open a new one.

This thread was opened by MemberID=508061 on Dec 8, 2008. That member changed their name/userid to astrolabe. after starting the thread. The one requesting the thread be deleted (MemberID=752486) joined May 10, 2011. The now member astrolab may not understand that when astrolabe. changed their name/userid it isn't changed in the forums and may not understand why all these threads are showing their userid when they didn't start them. Edit: spelling corrected
