Took 6.5 years to get there and lots of hunting, so Emerald will be about December 2018, at the same pace. Mmmm - makes one wonder how some got a sapphire with far less total years...  Don't think I'll ever get there - maybe in my next life  |

Mmmm - makes one wonder how some got a sapphire with far less total years... Well we used to not have a 1/thread limit. You could d/l as many as your cache would hold. I think the limit gives others a chance and results returned faster.   |

Mmmm - makes one wonder how some got a sapphire with far less total years... Well we used to not have a 1/thread limit. You could d/l as many as your cache would hold. I think the limit gives others a chance and results returned faster. Back in the day, I was naive enough to think that the rain gods would provide a deluge even if I only ticked the 'participate in beta' box. If I had perfected my raindance as I believe I now have, I could have had a deep blue lake by now   Crunching in memory of my Mum PEGGY, cousin ROPPA and Aunt AUDREY. |

Yup, it used to be more a matter of luck and timing as well as perseverance. Now it's all perseverance. Still waiting on my 10 pages of PV to add a few more days. Quickly closing in on Emerald.

When I first came here, this was all swamp. Everyone said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built in all the same, just to show them. It sank into the swamp. So I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up.
