Re: Christmas Race 2008

Why are you posting this here when it will get burried in general chat before it gets a chance. See, what you guys call a chat room, i call a place to dump worthless threads. This is why it is important to show these competitions in the team forum, where it can be effectively viewed.

But not mind me, im a nutjob.

Hi NutJob! laughing

We'll just have to keep bumping this one then!

Sounds like a good idea to me. . . .

KORA Radio News Extra: Need a stocking stuffer?

A Quad-Core CPU for under 100usd
Add a mobo and or ram (like this), and you qualify for 1.99 shipping (as mentioned here) A great gift for you or your computer racing enthusiast, when it comes to this season.

TigerDirect has these sales in support of breast cancer research, so this isn’t just money they are after so much. They have the same common goal as us in a way, as part of the proceeds go to related funds. This says much, as the mark of any group is its philanthropy.

biggrin biggrin biggrin

Now back to you regularly scheduled program... already in progress.

Re: Christmas Race 2008

For this challenge, are results counted at time of completion, or time of validation? Sorry for a noobish question, my first challenge here.

Thanks in advance

Whatever happened to radio KCCR?

Hehe, It is a concept based on my past in online gaming. KORA O'Radio News use to transmit current game server info and league action for Mechwarrior players worldwide. CoraOServers was a division of this service that provided over 125K pilot hours per year in service to the same community.

But I havent a clue what KCCR is?

My name in the rest the venues I am online, I am CoraONasty. Hence KORA, as I am on the west coast of the USA. The stations here have a "K" prefeix letter like the east coast has the "W" prefix. So it fits nicely.

Now for something else that fits nicely:

It fits nicely in your socket 775 mobo. Oh and:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Searc...&Sku=MCM-M2NSLI-9500B

fits nicely in that old tired case and give it the minty new cpu smell. And if that is not nice enough, then slide those drives and OS right into the next decade:

We will be back with more, after this.

Steve, Welcome to WCG and to its exciting challenges!

For this challenge as well as for anything else there are no credits/points counted before results are validated. It's always the granted credits which count.

Regarding teams and challenges, member points validated over the whole day are added at end of day (UTC) to the team the member belongs to at this time.

Cheers. Jean.

Thank you, I guess towards the end then it's a good idea to limit yourself to projects with low quorum so they validate in time to be counted. :)
