Hi,
I have just installed Kaspersky Internet Security and when I try and report a completed project it does not send it off, I have tired adding BONIC to kaspersky and setting it to allow all actions from BONIC and adding as a trusted app, but this still happens. If I close kaspersky it works fine is there any way to fix this? Thanks, wizkid17 |

Hi and sorry for your plight,,
----------------------------------------I just last week re-tried a new version of Comodo AV version 3 and not come across a more convoluted piece of junk as that product. It caused sciences to crash within seconds, eating here through 18 tasks before WCG refused to give me more and ate through 968 at Malaria before I knew it, after which the client got blocked too by them. This was regardless of me knowing reasonably well what to set for BOINC to get through. So, what I'm saying now is that Kaspersky is in the same class as far as my 2 cents are concerned. TOO Frequently reported by members. Maybe someone else with positive experience can help out. There is a write up of steps to take for Symantec, so maybe that helps you along: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewSearch.do?searchString=firewall My recipe for save security is Sunbelt/Kerio Personal Firewall and Alwil Avast AV, 2 clear and transparently configurable pieces of free software. The software firewall only runs on the laptop btw for when on the road and not behind the Router included security. Ciao
