I was just wondering, do any kind of T-Shirts exist, which we can buy?
----------------------------------------I think for its 4th birthday it would be great if there would be some sort of T-Shirts, Golf Shirts, some with just the logo, and maybe some, with some sort of poster advertisement on it. Help heal cancer / aids with your computer's screensaver! worldcommunitygrid.org Or something like that :-) [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Nov 12, 2008 8:50:59 AM] |

We're working on getting more but not making much headway yet. It's a matter of guaranteeing some kind of volumes before they'll prepare hundreds in advance. We'll keep the CA's posted as to progress.

Thanks for the link, but I must say the FAQ is pretty hard to read.
A typical FAW how you usually find them with the All the Subjects on top liked to the answers which are all on the same page below, is a lot nicer I think. And I don't want to be all negative here sorry, but I think the T-Shirts are not so pretty, a wekipedia golf shirt is much nicer :-( Hm well maybe the next ones will be nicer, also some line on them like "Saving the world one crunch at a time" or before the address on the shirt "Be part of it", would be nice. The shirt just look too geeky if you ask me, and unfortuanetly not geeky in a good way, more like like 80s geeky. But at least the shirt is not very expensive :-) thats very nice, price matches whats on offer I think, too bad the shirts are not being shipped from within Europe, but of course I understand that Thanks for your fast answers :-) |

Hi Thorsten,
----------------------------------------When back in Germany I sometimes got the "Bei uns ist alles besser" shared with me, so got a sample of such a much more convenient FAQ index that will fit within the constraints of the Start Here forum read only section in a structured format? The shirts are I think actually shipped from the nearest store that has them in stock to minimize shipping costs. cheers

Hello,
I just wanted to put my 2 cents into this that I bought a couple shirts and they are of cheap cost and decent quality. Size Large seemed to be the most popular. Also, I think Black is a very fitting color. Not only do I love the color black, but I think it is symbolic of the Johny Cash song "Man in Black." The World Community Grid along with fighting disease, poverty and human condition in this world will always be an on going cause and problem. We can wear black until everything is okay. I like the WCG T-shirt as is, they just need more size Large. |

@Sekerob
Sorry, I certainly did not mean to imply that, "Bei uns is alles besser", everything is better here. Just wanted to give some constructive criticism, thanks for the Links, the collections of FAQs in one post is really useful, bookmarked it right away :-) Well I am glad the shirts are shipped from the nearest store, but for $15 shipping, the nearest store is probably in the U.S. or at least pretty far away from Germany. Which is of course understandable, afterall, WCG is at home in the U.S. and shirt demand may not be so high is Europe. On the otherside on the Statistics page it says, over 100,000 users in Europe and only 66,000 in the U.S. So maybe demand would be quite high, if shipping would be cheaper, in my opinion a second nicer shirt would be on offer and it would be advertised via the WCG Newsletter. Of course it may only seem that there are more users in Europe as WCG has almost 200,000 anonymous members which I find surprising, maybe those are all n the U.S.? |

Well I am glad the shirts are shipped from the nearest store, but for $15 shipping, the nearest store is probably in the U.S. or at least pretty far away from Germany. Thorsten, if you buy from the US store it comes from the US and it's expensive for you, that makes sense. If you follow the global link given by Jean Pierre you will see that "your" shop is either in Germany (with zero stock, too bad) or in the UK with a few (12 while I am typing) Small size T-shirts in "Last chance to buy". And, as far as I understand their FAQ, shipping seems to be free in Europe? But that seems too beautiful to be true... Good luck! Jean. PS: Beware, looking at my Medium size one, "Small" really means "small"... |
