Well, you're right. It's not working.

Get back to us when you have the IO redirected, and we can see what is going on.

This is a silly question, but.... you have followed the instructions for attaching BOINC to the World Community Grid project, haven't you?

lol, when it comes to Ains, there's no silly questions :) I got io redirect going, but you're right, silly me forgot to attach, am trying to work out how to do that now, and hopefully it should be all sweet *fingers crossed*

I think i've been staring at the screen for too long. I can find how to attach via a GUI, but not via the command line?

Instructions here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Boinccmd_tool

Remember, in your version of BOINC, it is boinc_cmd, not boinccmd. Don't ask.

ok so I attached to www.worldcommunitygrid.org with the daemon password and came up with no errors.

thought i'd just paste top again so you can see if it's running, from what i can see, I don't think it is properly.

I think the problem is to do with the account key. I added this after the url (with a space) when attaching. I used the account key that is located in gui_rpc_auth.cfg, so not sure why it's saying it's invalid.

That's not your account key. That's your GUIRPC password.

Your account key is here: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewMyProfile.do

Delete the file account_www.worldcommunitygrid.org.xml before you try to attach again.

thanks :) Ok, so i rm'ed the account_www.worldcommunitygrid.org.xml and tried to attach again, but when i tried to attach again it said :

Error -130: already attached to project
