OK Dave and others, I have interpreted the forum rule too strictly as if it were "don't recruit outside your team tread". I was abused by the reasoning "if you may not recruit outside the Team forum and if you can have only one thread per team then you may recruit only in your team thread". I forgot the case when an opportunity like this one is offered to rightfully recruit outside one's team thread. Anyway, my post was not innocent, as I have said in French** for Pascal whom I know already for having already discussed with him in the forum of his current (past?) team. I just wanted him to not forget which team I belong to, in case he would be interested.  Cheers. Salut JmB, J'ai rien du tout compris à tout ce que vous dites tous Tu peux me traduire ? Certainement pas tout, mais je peux résumer. Ton message a laissé croire que tu cherchais une équipe très impliquée dans WCG et il a suscité quelques offres de services de plusieurs équipes. Pour ne pas être en reste et pour montrer ma signature sans recruter directement j'ai rappelé la règle de recrutement du forum, mais je l'ai fait incorrectement, ce qui nous a valu quelques rectifications. Donc, à ce sujet, les règles sont: 1. Ne pas recruter directement en dehors de la section Teams 2. Un seul fil par équipe est autorisé dans la section Teams Ce que j'avais condensé à tort en "on ne peut recruter directement que dans le fil de son équipe". Sauf s'il se trouve que quelqu'un démarre un fil général dans cette section comme tu l'as fait. Voilà. Ce qui est ironique c'est que tu nous a bien eus! Comme je fréquente aussi le forum de l'équipe France j'ai découvert qu'en fait tu cherchais une équipe généraliste pour cruncher sur les très nombreux projets Boinc qui t'intéressent. And also I told him that we could believe from his first post that he was looking for a team much dedicated to WCG while in fact he is looking for a team to host him on the numerous other Boinc projects he is also crunching for (I have discovered it while visiting the forum of team France). Jean, Pascal, MOT participates in 16 other BOINC projects besides WCG. Thanks for the offer Keith, but I am WCG-only and I am happy in my team. And for Pascal I think he has found where he wants to settle now. Anyway, 17 projects (including WCG) that's exactly the number of lines in his BS sig so that would be amazing that they match exactly your offer. Also, we pwn noobs. Wait does that also violate forum rules? Jonathan, about the rules I think i have said that I misinterpreted the situation. Regarding the "noob" I can tell you that's not really Pascal's profile. Anyway, as said above to Keith, I think you can forget about Pascal for the time being: he seems to have found his new place. Cheers. Jean. |

Cheers all. Jean.. Mais non pas tant pis, pour vous je suis quand même 1 cruncher de plus à temps partiel sur WCG En tout je calcule sur 20 projets. Il y en a 2 ou 3 qui ne sonts pas sur ma signature BoincStats, mais il est vrai que ça commence à faire beaucoup.
