Can you explain the error messages somewhere

The BOINC Manager spews various error messages without any method to find out what they mean. it is getting very frustrating to try and participate when it is so difficult to track down a problem. BOINC can run fine and then break on its own with no quick wayto find a fix. Very dissappointing.

Re: Can you explain the error messages somewhere

This is a failing of Berkeley. They continue to shoot themselves in the foot.

No matter: we are here to help.

If you have a message you are unsure about, simply post it here (use the "Copy selected messages" button) and we will explain it or point you to the relevant information.

Since Berkeley have failed us, we have written many guides ourselves, and there is other documentation scattered all over the place.

Re: Can you explain the error messages somewhere

Hi,

Section 4 of our FAQ index , long as it not reshuffled. Includes pointers to wiki's, one having a full list of them, long as there is an error code.

Now tell us which one bugs most? Plz post the message log entry, preferably a copy/paste.
