I'm a little confused about which Linux distros are supported. The web pages only refer to "Linux" yet the Linux client download URL link refers to Umbuntu. I'm running CentOS 5.2 64-bit. Will it work?
Thanks. |

All Linux distros are supported, however, for some, there are distro-specific packages available that make installation much easier.

If you make sure that you also have the 32-bit version of the libcurl library installed it should work. WCG applications are all 32-bit right now.
----------------------------------------I could find a post from a member using CentOS, but he did not say if it was 32 or 64. WCG does not support a particular flavor of Linux. However it is true that most testing is essentially done under Ubuntu, probably because it seems to be the most widely used. Cheers. Jean. |
