Hi Ron,
----------------------------------------what I'd like you to do is visit the client message log and post a copy of a job's records showing that it completed and was uploaded and a copy/paste of same task from the Result Status page. example of client log 27/10/2008 16:09:13|WCG|Computation for task X0000052610349200507011233_0 finished 27/10/2008 16:09:13|WCG|Starting X0000052640791200507160155_0 27/10/2008 16:09:13|WCG|Starting task X0000052640791200507160155_0 using hcc1 version 606 27/10/2008 16:09:15|WCG|Started upload of X0000052610349200507011233_0_0 27/10/2008 16:09:22|WCG|Finished upload of X0000052610349200507011233_0_0 27/10/2008 16:09:26|WCG|Sending scheduler request: To report completed tasks. seems i have figured it out..
----------------------------------------i was just manually uploading the wu,s so as not to get too many jobs in que changed the network settings then, i went to the first tab and updated client to let it d/l a few more jobs,,, when i did this a few minutes after they showed on the website as valid.. so i supose just uploading finished work without updating the client is not advisable..... oooohhhhh boy lol [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Oct 27, 2008 9:20:39 PM] |

If you look in the Tasks tab you will have seen "Ready to Report". Normally they auto-clear within 24 hours e.g. when new work is fetched, that is if there is an Internet connection.
----------------------------------------Anyway, glad you got it sorted, leaving me to ask you to return to your opening post and insert [RESOLVED] in the title. ciao

I am having this same problem with one of my machines. I have tried everything I can think of including uninstalling and removing all trace of the program from the hard drive (yes registry too) and then reinstalling. This machine (Running Vista) cranks out work like crazy but it never shows up in my account nor does the machine show up in the device list. Strange thing is that is did when I first installed it. Any ideas or can you help?

Hi Stephania,
----------------------------------------Is the name in the BOINC Manager, Project tab, the same as "Shebear" as you are currently posting here under? If you use the Simple view, just hover your mouse over the WCG icon, right bottom. A little pop up should show saying World Community Grid, Work done by Shebear xxxxx ttyl ![]()

In Advanced view it shows both the account and team as Shebear just as the other 12 machines I have it on do.
