 Ruhig Brauner, ruhig. Ich hab auf den Knopp gedrückt und es jeht. =;-)Also funktioniert. Lag vermutlich an meiner Ungeduld, aber IMHO war die Proxy Auth das Problem welches zur Lösung geführt hat. Vielen Dank nochmal für die Hilfe. Was BOINC und Proxy anbelangt: Alpha hört sich ja nach extrem früher Entwicklungsphase an. Was aber auch bedeutet, Änderungswünsche können angenommen werden. Nur gut. Dann sollten die Herren das Kennwort für den Proxy auch in SHA512 oder MD5 in die Datei reinschreiben, statt in Klartext. =;-( |

Sorry lilhurricane, as said on the forum home page, "Forum posts are not translated from the language in which they are posted". It's probably because you are on the good side of the language barrier that you had not noticed it yet...
---------------------------------------- Anyway, since you are not a newbie here you know that if there had been anything new in this thread Sekerob would have translated it for the reasons you mention. If he has not it is most probably because it is yet another proxy problem like those already discussed in English in this forum. He has also given a link to the Proxy section of the WCG help (in English) and I will add one to the Start Here FAQ related to proxy: BOINC: Proxy Settings & Authentication Which is also pointing at other places for more information. And if your proxy problems do not fall in the areas covered by those you know that you are welcome to describe your particular case here. Cheers. Jean. |

There was indeed absolutely nothing in here that had a new info tag to go with the problem.
----------------------------------------What I did do to make the solution even more easier to find is add the original key error "Scheduler request failed: Failure when receiving data from the peer" to the Start Here FAQ Index and also added a "Before Reading On, Is the System Date and Time set Correctly on the problem device/client/host?" question as that is one other of these top "Gotchas". ttyl
