So I was just looking at my stats on the my grid page. I love the new layout and how the individual project stats and badges are shown. I have WCG running on a pc nearly 24/7 but I don't often visit the site or keep up to date on the latest goings on.
In looking at my badges I noticed I was missing one, so I attempted to prioritize that one for a short time, but after bouncing around the site for a few minutes I found it's already completed. I thought it would be a good idea to have some sort of indicator on the My Grid page next to each project to show it's current status. Even a simple green circle icon to stand for active, yellow pause symbol to stand for delayed or paused, and some other icon, like a check mark to stand for completed. Just a thought. |

Sorry, you're missing 3.
----------------------------------------Both the Research page and the global statis, by project page show the status: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/stat/viewProjects.do and, of course if you go to the My Grid > My Projects you can only select active projects. But, yes thanks for the suggestion to add a My Grid indication, though it would only show projects to which in past you have contributed, which is the object. cheers [Added: and an FAQ to see what you missed out on ![]()

Humm I agree with pball1224... he missed just one badge (Help Defeat Cancer)once the project was completed... and I agree with Sek about the number of badges... once there are more two badges to pball1224 conquer yet... Beta and African Climate (just in the next phase of the project) badges, both very hard to get until now. Good luck !

I have the same problem here on some things like muscular dystrophy...I didn't do enough work on that one. The first phase ended before the badge thingy came along.
----------------------------------------![]() ![]() ![]() New rule of thumb .... run at least 90 days worth of work on anything new ... ![]() I hadn't done that before, and some badges on old work were assigned after-the-fact. I do love the new individual badge display ... easy to see our time on each project, isn't it? ... good work by the techs on that one!

Is there a "medal barrier" keeping us under 90 days? Here are a couple of mine this morning.
